Leire Moure Peñín
Leire Moure holds a PhD in Political Science and Sociology specializing in International Public Law and International Relations from the University of the Basque Country/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea (2009) and a degree in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Deusto (1995). She is currently Associate Professor (Contratada Doctora) in the Department of Public Law, Historical-Legal Sciences and Political Thought at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Communication of the UPV/EHU. Her lines of research focus on theoretical debates in International Relations, transformations of the international order, threats to peace and collective security, and public diplomacy and international communication. She is the author of more than fifty books and academic articles. In the last 10 years she has supervised 4 doctoral theses, all of them with the highest qualification, 3 with international mention and 1 with extraordinary doctoral prize. She is also a founding partner of LABAK Laboratorio de actualidad S.L., a spin off aimed at transferring research generated in the field of corporate communication of organizations and Vice President of the Eurocampus Association.
