César Coca García
PhD in Journalism from the UPV/EHU and a degree in Information Science and Political Science and Sociology, both from the Complutense University of Madrid.
Professor of Journalism at the UPV/EHU since 1989.
Author of the books ‘Lenin y la prensa’, ‘Entrevista con la cultura’ and ‘García Márquez canta un bolero’ and co-author of a dozen other books. He has published, alone or in collaboration, some thirty articles in specialized magazines.
He is assistant to the Director of the newspaper El Correo and responsible for the cultural supplement of this newspaper. He also directs the Master of Multimedia Journalism of El Correo and the UPV/EHU.
Miguel de Unamuno Essay Prize 2005.
Basque Journalists Award, granted by the College and Associations of Journalists of the Basque Country in 2018.
National Award for the Promotion of Reading 2015 (as head of the supplement Territorios de la Cultura).
